First Night's "We Are Family" Photo Exhibit is Here

First Night's 'We Are Family' Photo Exhibit will be on view at the Westport Arts Center, 51 Riverside Ave., from 3 to 10 PM on Monday December 31

Seven professional photographers including Suzanne Sheridan, Alison Wachstein, David Emberling, Barry Hyman, Jim Kahnweiler, and Shelley Crayn contributed their time and talents to bringing this exhibit to reality. The idea was to put a face on our towns' families and indeed we did. Families of all sorts are represented in this exhibit - parents and kids, organizations, clubs, reading groups, dog-walking groups, town government groups, non-traditional families, and even a group of deli workers from Oscar's Deli.

This exhibit is the face of Westport and Weston. It will be archived in a permanent book at the Westport Public Library and is a tribute to everyone who had anything whatsoever to do with bringing it to this public viewing.

Everyone is thanked and everyone is welcome to view the exhibit at First Night Westport/Weston 2008 on Monday December 31. WE ARE FAMILY.
